There’s something about summer in the Berkshires that makes me always think of the most romantic things. Maybe its the summer haze that drifts over the mountains or night swimming under the moon. Whatever it is Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald say it best anyway so I think I’ll defer to them.
“I love her and that’s the beginning
and the end of everything.”
– F. Scott Fitzgerald
“I don’t suppose I really know you very well – but I know you smell the delicious damp grass that grows near old walls and that your hands are beautiful opening out of your sleeves and that the back of your head is a mossy sheltered cave when there is trouble in the wind and that my cheek just fits the depression in your shoulder.”
– Zelda Fitzgerald
