The first time I saw her

Hey Hart Beat. You need to watch this right now. This is one of the most amazingly heartbreakingly true poems about love that I’ve ever heard. The poem is called “OCD” and is written and preformed by Neil Hilborn. If you want more spoken word, check out this love letter from Sarah Kay.

I want her back so bad I leave the door unlocked, I leave the lights on.

A love letter from Sarah Kay

Hi there Hart Beat. One of the best parts of relaxing at home is I get to read and listen to whatever I want all day long. Today I went on a little spoken word poetry binge and wanted to share on of my favorite (short) pieces here. Soon I want to do a whole post for you on this spoken word poet, Sarah Kay, and some of my others that I don’t want to bother you with here. I would love to here her live in the city sometime.
