And please remember me as in the dream

Hi. Have you heard this song? I thought you might like it, as soon as I heard it I wanted to share it with you, Hart Beat. Iron & Wine aka Samuel Beam has been one of my favorite singers since high school and I’m going through another faze now. This one is especially good, don’t you think? The lyrics just about kill me.

“The Trapeze Swinger” by Iron & Wine
But please remember me, my misery
And how it lost me all I wanted
Those fogs that love the rain and chasing trains
The colored birds above there running

In circles round the well and where it spells
On the wall behind St. Peter
So bright on cinder gray in spray paint
‘Who the hell can see forever?’

And please remember me, seldomly
In the car behind the carnival
My hind between your knees, you turn from me
And said the trapeze act was wonderful
