Auf wiedersehen!

Hey hart beat, I just wanted to send a little farewell post. This is not a formal forever goodbye, but kind of like a see you later post. My roommate and I are leaving for a month long trip to Germany and the surrounding countries. We don’t have much planned passed our flights in and out so I wish I could tell you dear readers more but that’s about all I know as of now. Anyway, have a great month and unless I come across some internet cafes I’ll see you in July!!

Now, of course since this is hart beat and hart beat is all about romantic pictures and music, here’s a classic post to bid you farewell for a while…

Call your girlfriend

At Bates during the last couple of weeks my friends and I listened pretty much exclusively to the singer Robyn. (She’s amazing by the way, like Madonna level amazing. Seriously.) The other day I came across this great cover and have been listening to it the last couple of days. The original song, of course, sung by Robyn is an epic dance number. This one is a little more mellow and can be put on repeat to listen to over and over again. Not only is this version hauntingly beautiful, but the gut wrenching lyrics take on a whole new meaning.

For those of you with spotify, the songs there waiting to be listened to.
