Oh my god! I have another movie recommendation for you! Actually, I really have another director recommendation for you. Already on Hart Beat Sofia Coppola and Cameron Crowe have appeared as guest directors, you could say, and today I want to showcase another one: Quentin Tarantino.
I know, surprising right? Kind of like when I confessed my love for Kanye a couple months ago? Well the story of my love for Mr. Tarantino is a long and involved one, so I’ll try to be brief. Pretty much it starts with seeing “Kill Bill Vol. I” and “Kill Bill Vol. II” in early high school and then being obsessed with Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu. The obsession continued when I saw Reservoir Dogs with friends in Madrid at the amazing Cine Dore near the metro stop Anton Martin. Ah memories.
Anyway, if you haven’t seen any, Quentin Tarantino movies (“Pulp Fiction,” “Inglourious Bastards,” “Grindhouse”), then be ready for some pretty violent stuff. The director doesn’t shy away from the gruesome or violent images. The stories though, are so good, as are the characters and the music! Dios, so good. Here’s a trailer for “Reservoir Dogs.”
Great music, right? Look him up. Also, I heard through the grapevine that another one of his movies is coming out soon. Get excited.
